VERHEY COFFEE TABLE
The Verhey Coffee Table is conceived as a sculptural exploration of mass, balance, and material tension. An asymmetrical marble slab rests on a cylindrical metal base that grounds the composition with architectural clarity. A thin brass plane mediates the intersection, emphasizing the tectonic relationship between stone and metal.
The marble’s raw edges and natural veining reinforce the table’s geological presence, allowing material character to define the form rather than ornament. Each piece is inherently unique, shaped by the stone itself. Designed to stand alone as an object or to be paired in composition, Verhey occupies the threshold between furniture and functional sculpture, defined by structure and enduring material integrity.
